Worries at Christmas

When everyone’s excited

Or getting in the swing

Roast turkey, tinsel and baubles

Really aren’t your thing

It brings on stress and worries

Emotions that feel hard

Some memories that trigger you

At the thought of receiving a card

Try to remember some good times

Christmas is about giving

Have some time to rest and recharge

Receive the gift of living!

In moments that are tough

Stay kind to yourself and breathe through it

Take time to know you’re enough as you are

Maybe find something new to try and do it!

As everything does, Christmas too shall pass, and

Spring will soon be here with the fresh green grass.
