Parent Led CBT

Parenting is tough – but you’re not alone; join our fun, friendly course to build confidence and feel supported. Where we focus on connection not correction and handle behaviour optimistically.

We believe that working in partnership with parents and carers is key to supporting positive changes in a child’s behaviour. By sharing strategies and understanding the challenges children may face, we can ensure consistency between home and therapy sessions. This collaborative approach helps children feel supported, secure and understood and it empowers parents and carers with practical tools to reinforce positive behaviours in everyday life. Together, we can address difficulties early, build on strengths and create an environment that gives each child the best chance to develop healthy coping skills and thrive.

What is Parent Led Low Intensity CBT?

  • This is an intervention working with parents and carers, centred on the child or young person.
  • Each week we will cover a new topic, focusing on the behaviours you are seeing and learn ways to manage these
  • What Group Parent Led LICBT offers:
  • A 6-week online course
  • Space where parents can not only learn; but help and support each other.
  • Evidence-based parenting techniques to support behavioural management.
