Every year, Pride Month is held in June to commemorate the Stonewall riots and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community.

For LGBTQ+ people, Pride Month promotes their dignity, equal rights, self-affirmation, and it is a way of increasing society’s awareness of the issues they face.

It allows people to come together, to show how far LGBTQ+ rights have come and also to raise awareness that there is still work to be done.

The theme this year is Art and to help celebrate Pride Month, one of our therapeutic positive activities will have an art related theme – Painting Pebbles so more information to come later this month.
