Men’s Health week 13th June 2022 is an important week for all of us as we want to encourage the (young) men in our lives to really pay attention to their emotional and physical wellbeing.

The message from Men’s Mental Health Forum is that it is TIME FOR YOUR MOT.

They say that all of us ‘have been through a lot these past couple of years. Covid has not gone away – not at all – but we are beginning to live with it.’

To do this, they say men need to be at the top of their game, physically and mentally.

So, for this year’s Men’s Health Week, which runs 13-19 June it’s time for men everywhere, to give themselves an MOT’.

  • This means spending some time to be aware of your emotional wellbeing
  • Practising good self -care
  • Making sure you take time for healthy eating and exercise
  • Connecting with others and becoming more familiar with your emotions
