International Day of People with Disabilities (IDPWD)

The 3rd of December is an official day to recognise and celebrate people with disabilities. It has been created as a day to spread an awareness and understanding of both visible and invisible disabilities. This year (2021) the theme is ‘fighting for rights in the post covid era’ – and it invites you and I to reflect on the severity of impact that the COVID pandemic has had on people with disabilities. The IDPWD invites you to use the day to recognise the impact that it has had on them. Please see the image and link below to see what work they are doing:
