Barnardo’s Education Community

Our colleagues over at Barnardo’s Education Community have launched a website with a wealth of high quality information and resources.

I am writing this blog to highlight this fantastic resource which is aimed at professionals who work in education settings. As you scroll through the website you will find various information including videos, ideas on best practice and blogs. And perhaps, most impressively is the ‘worksheets/workbooks’ page where you will find worksheets  on bereavement, loss, trauma, anxiety and self care.

This resource page is where parents and professionals a like can draw from the creative and individual workbooks to help the Children and Young People in their lives.

I contacted the BEC Team to give us a little insight into their website and what they offer:

“We have a multitude of options for education staff and those who work in education supporting children and young people. We all have our own areas of interest in the Barnardo’s Education Community programme that we lead on using our expertise, skills, and knowledge. Collaboration and co-production are central to our philosophy and the successful delivery and development of our programme”.

As their website grows, we will aim to collaborate and share the most relevant resources – and if you are an educator then please head over to their website and get yourself signed up:
